Dual Verbs - Feminine

When conjugating feminine verbs for exactly two people (dual), specific endings are attached. Here are the feminine dual forms for the root verb فَعَلَ:

هُمَا
فَعَلَتَا
They Two did
تَفْعَلَانِ
They Two do
أَنْتُمَا
فَعَلْتُمَا
You Two did
تَفْعَلَانِ
You Two do
اِفْعَلَا
Do! (dual)
Grammar tip: For the 3rd person dual feminine past tense, Alif is added to the singular feminine suffix (`تْ` -> `تَا`), yielding `فَعَلَتَا`. The 2nd person forms are identical to the masculine dual forms.
Feminine Pattern Tips
1. Attached Suffixes

Attached feminine pronouns (Col 2) like هَا (her) or كِ (your) are added to the end of nouns or particles.

2. Past Tense Ends

The Past tense (Col 3) feminine forms use distinctive suffixes: تْ (she), نَ (they all), تِ (you), and تُنَّ (you all).

3. Present Starts & Ends

The Present tense (Col 4) feminine forms include prefixes like تَـ and endings like ـينَ or ـْنَ (e.g., تَفْعَلِينَ, يَفْعَلْنَ).

The Root Formula

Just like masculine forms, feminine forms follow the 3-letter root formula. Here, we use ف-ع-ل. Simply swap these three letters with any other root (like خ-ل-ق) and the suffixes/prefixes remain exactly the same!
